Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using primalwisdom.in in any way — browsing, registering for an account, subscribing to our newsletter, or purchasing a book — you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, along with our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, Refund Policy, Cancellation Policy, and Cookie Policy, each of which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

If you are using the Site on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

About Primal Wisdom

Primal Wisdom publishes practical books on wellness, mindset, and everyday living, and sells them — along with related formats such as eBooks and audiobooks as they become available — through this Site. We are based in Haridwar, Uttarakhand, India, and operate primarily for customers in India, though visitors from other countries are welcome to browse and, where shipping permits, order.

Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 18 years old, or be using the Site under the supervision of a parent or guardian, to place an order. When you create a "My Account" profile, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information.
• Keep your login credentials confidential and notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.
• Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate an account that we reasonably believe is being used fraudulently, abusively, or in violation of these Terms.

Orders & product information

We take reasonable care to describe our books accurately, including titles, formats, and cover images. Minor variations in cover design, print run, or packaging may occur and do not entitle you to a refund unless the product received is materially different from what was ordered.

Placing an order on the Site is an offer to buy. We may accept or decline any order at our discretion — for example, where a product is out of stock, where we suspect fraud, or where a pricing or listing error has occurred. If we decline or cancel an order after payment, we will refund the amount paid in full.

Pricing & payment

All prices on the Site are listed in Indian Rupees (₹) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. We try to keep prices accurate, but errors can occasionally occur; if we discover a pricing error on your order, we will contact you before proceeding and you may choose to continue at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.

Payments are processed securely through our third-party payment gateway partners. We do not store your full card, UPI, or net-banking details on our servers. By placing an order, you confirm that the payment method you use belongs to you or that you are authorised to use it.

Shipping, returns & cancellations

Delivery timelines, courier partners, and shipping charges are set out in our Shipping Policy. Our approach to returns and refunds is set out in our Refund Policy, and the conditions under which an order can be cancelled are set out in our Cancellation Policy. All three form part of these Terms and should be read together with them before you place an order.

Intellectual property

All content on primalwisdom.in — including book text and excerpts, cover art, the Primal Wisdom name and logo, site design, graphics, and written content — is owned by or licensed to Primal Wisdom and is protected under Indian and international copyright, trademark, and intellectual property law.

Purchasing a book gives you a personal licence to read and enjoy it. It does not give you the right to reproduce, distribute, publicly perform, resell, or create derivative works from our content without our prior written permission. Unauthorised use of our intellectual property may result in legal action.

Reviews & user content

If you submit a review, rating, comment, or other content to the Site, you confirm that it is your own, truthful, and does not infringe anyone else's rights. By submitting it, you grant Primal Wisdom a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display, reproduce, and use that content in connection with the Site and our marketing.

We may edit, decline to publish, or remove any submitted content at our discretion — for example, if it is abusive, misleading, unrelated to the product, or otherwise inappropriate.

Acceptable use

When using the Site, you agree not to:

• Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, accounts, or data.
• Interfere with the security, integrity, or performance of the Site.
• Scrape, copy, or republish our content or pricing without permission.
• Upload viruses, malicious code, or content that infringes on the rights of others.

We may suspend access, cancel orders, or take other reasonable action against anyone who breaches this section.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted under Indian law, Primal Wisdom, its founders, and its staff will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from your use of the Site or our products, including loss of data, loss of profit, or personal outcomes attributed to the application of ideas contained in our books. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot legally be limited, including liability for fraud or wilful misconduct.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from an order will not exceed the amount you paid for that order.

The Site may contain links to third-party websites, payment gateways, or courier tracking pages, provided for your convenience. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party site. Visiting a linked site is at your own risk and subject to that site's own terms.

Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable consumer protection law, any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Site will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Haridwar, Uttarakhand. We encourage you to contact us first at support@primalwisdom.in so we can try to resolve any concern informally.

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, our policies, or the law. When we do, we will update the "effective date" at the top of this page. Continuing to use the Site after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms, so we encourage you to review this page periodically.
